I have been trying to slow down and savor the little moments that are so easy to overlook. These days our schedule seems rushed and with two kids who both have strong independent personalities the moments of peace are limited. So when they have those cherished moments of playing peacefully together or sharing something, I want so badly to make it last. I like to watch quietly from a distance and maybe snap a photo or two and just let them be happy, together. This photo was from a few weekends ago when they stumbled across some ladybugs that had made their way into the playroom.

- Hi I'm Kim, wife, mom of two, homemaker and crafting enthusiast. I live in a house surrounded by woods surrounded by suburbia. I devote my time to raising my two beautiful children Sweets(6) and Bug(3). They are my motivation, my education, my inspiration and my fan club. In my stolen moments of free time I have found a love for sewing instilled in me from watching my grandmother sew beautiful clothing and quilts as I was growing up. I'm no where near as good as she was, but I'm learning all the time. I spent several years as a Wedding Photographer, and finally decided I'm much happier photographing the things I want on my own time. I worry too much about what people think of me and have a problem saying no so I am often overextended. I love thrift stores, shoes, Sunergos coffee, fabric, owls, buttons, Sunergos Tea, pumpkins, robots, trees, frozen yogurt, and cupcakes. I dislike birds as pets, heights, murky water, and milk. I hope you will find something that you relate to here amongst my musings and projects. I hope to share my simple life and the things that amuse and bother me, my sewing adventures and of course the joys and frustrations of being a mama. -Kim
